Contest Brief

As a book publisher, I am on the lookout for a talented artist specialized in realistic pencil sketches.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Proven experience in pencil sketching, with a focus on highly realistic art.
- Prior experience in book illustration will be a definite advantage.
- Ability to capture and portray intricate details in illustrations.

TASKS TO BE DELIVERED:

- Your main task will be to create book illustrations that truly reflect the atmosphere and characters of the narrative.
- Sketches should not only be visually appealing but should also align with the content of the book.

In essence, your role will be pivotal in catching a potential reader's eye and making the book visually compelling. Therefore, your work should demonstrate greater attention to detail, authenticity, and creativity that appeals to a high degree of realism. Bids should include examples of your previous work in sketching. Preference will be given to those who have prior experience in book illustration.


sPECIFICE
SPECIFICS FOR MASTER:
Make a fourth mermaid where the net is. In front, behind peeking replacing the net or somehow somewhere in there.

DOLPHINS MOE REAL LIFE LIKE BLOWHOLES BUBBLES SQUIRMING CURIOUS
The three dolphins should morph in MOM POP & JUNIOR. eNCHANCE the 3 DOLPHINS TOBECOME MALE FEMAL AND BABY.

mAKE TURTLES BE CARNIVOROUS , BEAKS & A MOM DAD JUNIR THREESOME, Draw/turn the three turtles to be slightly aggressive

HorseS are almost perfect, only make/draw their eyeS to be glaring at threats. The right horse has nice eye contact w/ the right mermaid. Make at least one other horse glare at some potential threat.

Key is make mermaids torsos more athletic, muscular, ribs, abdominally female. Current three mermaids are your best examples .

All work done in pencil, b&w, ink, charcoal , graphite, show depth, muscles shaded as are the current 3 mermaids already fntastically done. MAKE your FOURTH MERMAID , from scratch, WHERE THE NET IS

MAKE NEPTUNE SLIGHTLY STRETCHED TO APPEAR SKINNIER, LEANER.

Avoid creating biceps thatr esemble balls; instead, shape them to be longer, akin to a banana or the biceps of a 250lb male standing six and a half feet tall. Keep in mind that Neptune-male stands at a height of 1.98 meters. 120kg
    For the turtles, convey an impression that they are poised to take a bite out of the mermaid's arm or posterior. The scene should exude a sense of wild chaos, characterized by swirling motions, bubbles, flowing curves, Bubbling blowholes blowing out smoke rings, and dynamic movement.

      I see the examples you want to be used for Neptune face and torso. You have said stretch it but I dont see much difference between the illustrated example and the images you provided in the word doc. If I "stretch the figure to make it more slender and athletic (I was thinking Usain Bolt) it is going to look different from the examples you provided in the word doc.
