Request for Proposal: Annual Report Development for Southeast Alaska Food Bank

Dear Freelancers,

Greetings from the Southeast Alaska Food Bank! We are a non-profit organization based in Juneau, Alaska, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of glaciers, forests, and the ocean. Our mission is to combat food insecurity in our region by supplying food to 33 partner agencies, who distribute it to individuals and families in need throughout Southeast Alaska. Additionally, we operate our own food pantry, serving between 200-500 people per week.

We are in need of assistance with the development of our annual report, and we are turning to the talented freelancers on this platform to help us create a compelling and visually appealing document. We have identified elements from the annual report of the Food Bank of Alaska that we admire, such as engaging content and informative graphs, but we do not wish to replicate their report directly.

We are seeking freelancers who can showcase their creativity and expertise by providing us with an example of their work. We will select the freelancer whose example stands out and best aligns with our vision for the annual report. The chosen freelancer will then be provided with additional details to complete the project.

Key Requirements:

1.Creativity: Develop engaging content and visually appealing design elements for the annual report.
2. Incorporation of Elements: Include graphs and content similar to those found in the Food Bank of Alaska's annual report, while ensuring originality.
3. QR Code: Include a QR code in the annual report for quick access to our website donation page.
4. Reflective of Our Organization: Utilize images and information from our website (https://www.sealaskafoodbank.org/) to accurately represent our organization and its mission.
5. Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and professionalism in all aspects of the annual report.
6. To provide you with some context, we have distributed more than 580,000 pounds of food this year alone, highlighting the urgent need for our services in our community.
7. Size: We are thinking 5.5 x 8.5 but might also like 8.5 x 11. We have not fully decided yet.
8. Between 8-12 Pages including the cover and back.

Please submit your example along with your proposal, detailing your approach to the project, your relevant experience, and your proposed timeline. We will review all submissions and select the freelancer whose example best meets our criteria.
