Contest Brief

Hey there!

A brief overview:

We are a start up clothing brand called Yummo Clothing, our mission is to take our created character (image attached) and put him in different and funny scenarios on our clothing. Not only that but we are also looking for good clean designs away from that too. This character can be drawn in any way and we do not push you to make him look anything like the images attached, as long as we are happy with the character provided all is good! We are looking for a designer who is willing to work at a reasonable rate and produce humorous cartoonish style designs. We have a designer who is willing to work at £15/£50 per piece of artwork based on complexity and time taken. However, we looking for one other! Not only will artists be paid for their artwork up front but they will also receive bonus on items sold over time! Having skype/discord isn't necessary but as we would like to call with the artist to avoid confusion on designs, it is preferred. In case images attached aren't working, the character is a white bull but in a human like body structure (like characters from Bojack Horseman). He usually wears a spruce green beanie however, you don't have to include the beanie in your artwork. Purely optional.

It is worth noting we are looking for an artist to do a lot of our graphic work so if we choose you, expect other requests in quick pursuit! (This is why having a discord/skype relationship is very nice for us).

Please do not enter if you are not interested in doing more artworks for us in the immediate future.

Things to know:
- Design similar to that of RIPnDIP and Ayylien clothing
- Target demographic is teen to young adult
- Cartoonish style
- Will pay for art and you will also receive bonus based on items sold.
- Clothing based on this character, however you can draw him in any way you like. We encourage different styles as long it is within our original cartoon boundaries.
- Images can be any file format but when using vector images please fill up the canvas as we use print machines!
- Use raster image if there is going to be blank/transparent space!
- I'm a sucker for designs coming out of abstract shapes! Think they look really good on clothing and is always a good canvas/template!

Example concepts you should submit:

Character surfing on fire. Add any flair you wish to make you stand out! - likely for a hoodie or a t-shirt

"I'll do it at some point" Slogan with character chilling with dust bunnies (could also be a literal bunny made out of dust, up to you!) near object commonly forgotten about (eg a guitar) - likely for a hoodie

Character driving a combine harvester with a tagline of "me loverr" or "I'll give you the key" - likely for a sweatshirt

Character's brain coming out of the ears and lifting up the beanie - preferably only a head shot or a shoulder and upwards shot. try and emphasise the idea of being so smart that the brain is oozing out the head and the character does not know what to do (nervous look/perplexed) you could also go more jokey with it and he knows he's so smart and has a more comical expression! - likely for a t-shirt

Any idea that you think would be cool/stand out!
Feel free to give the character whatever clothing you wish! Keep it casual/"skater-esque" eg sweatshirts/hoodies shorts/joggers

(Have fun with the designs! The funnier and more out there they are the better!)

Looking forward to hearing from you!
