Contest Brief

Design the regalia for the Royal Order of the Red Dragon, a chivalric order established to recognize those who have greatly contributed to Welsh independence and culture. The Order has 4 ranks for women and men. A neck jewel, medal and miniature medal, breast star, and a riband with device must be designed for the regalia manufacturing company to work off of.
A Knight wears the neck Jewel, a Dame wears the jewel below a bow on an evening gown. A Knight/Dame commander wears the neck jewel and gets awarded a medal, A Grand Commander wears the breast star, a Grand Cordon wears the riband and previous regalia. The riband is red with white bordering. The neck jewel ribbon is solid red. The medal ribbon is red with white bordering.

The winner of the contest will likely be given the contract for designing the regalia for the Order of St. David, and other contracts in the future.
