Contest Brief

Attractive, easy-to-read logo with the name "afterpod", related to podcasts. I'm open to how it's presented... AFTERpod or AfterPod or whatever. It would be nice to have a little more art than just the letters... maybe work in a small icon? But just the letters is OK if they are stylized in a way that grabs your attention.

Best to stick with main colors or a complementary palette that catches the eye... but I do NOT want anything too gaudy or garish. It may be used as afterpod.com, too.

Also, I want the ORIGINAL ART file (and font names used) so I can adapt the logo in the future if needed. The work must be VECTOR graphics.

#129 is looking very good... yet the text in "pod" and "talk more" does not look right. Did you change the vertical height? It looks scrunched vertically. Please just use standard attributes, like in "after" (at least, to MY eye).

#118 is almost there... please (1) add the white shadow/spacing to the right of the After bubble like #101; (2) change the font of all text to Courier Bold; (3) change text inside bubbles to all LOWER case and add some space to left/right of the word; (4) change the tag line text to all CAPS. thanks

changes to #88... (1) switch colors to: #cc00ff and #96c120, (2) change bubble font, no strange A, and make bubbles match width of inner text ; (3) overlap the two talk bubbles A LITTLE BIT... do not cover up any text; (4) change the tag text to "Talk More"

However, AfterPod.com is a site ABOUT podcasting... but it is not a podcast. Perhaps I need a very short tagline to explain somehow? It will be a place to go to discuss podcasts and the making of them (called podcasting). Help me think of a good tag line on whatever entry wins!

PLEASE, unless it is totally different, please only submit ONE logo for review. It will be easier for all of us. I do not need 4 variations of the same thing, I can visualize it on my own OR will ask you to change a color or whatever. Thanks.

I should add that this logo will be used on a website focused mostly on the DISCUSSION of podcasts and podcasting. We intend to connect people and podcasts in a simple yet ENGAGING manner.
