Contest Brief
I have an online publication called the Ultimate Trader Almanac.
The target audience is primarily traders and secondarily, investors. The traders trade primarily in commodities, futures, and stocks, and secondarily, mutual funds, ETFs, and options. Order of importance would be 1) commodities and futures, 2( stocks, 3) options, mutual funds, ETFs.
I'm undecided about whether I would like the logo to be 1) sophisticated, 2) classy, 3) business-like simplicity, 4) humorous or cartoon-like, 5) flat or glossy, or 6) 2D or 3D. Since I'm undecided, please feel free to present examples in any style.

To all the Freelancers who participated with your great designs, I really appreciate your hard work. I hope other Freelancer Employers will view your work here and want to hire you. I'm not sure I like the contest methodology, because it leads to hard feelings after a winner is chosen. I had to pick one, because it was a guaranteed project. I tried to give honest feedback on the designs, so that they could be presented at their best. I apologize if feelings were hurt. I wish everyone who participated the best in all of their ventures in the coming year. Thanks everyone!
