Design an image for printing onto clothes

  • Status: Closed

Contest Brief

The image should be in reds, yellows and oranges as the design will be printed onto black, navy blue or dark brown as well as lighter sand colours A monochrome pattern in a white or cream may be considered for the right design. The material used for the printing will be polyester based and the most likely method will be through vinyl dyes. Example colours can be found below.

Suggested ideas maybe autumn (fall) leaves, a pattern based on Incan or Aztec geometric designs, or Japanese classic art. Whatever design it should be striking and dramatic but not overly complex given the limitations in dyes.

The size of the image would be around 12cm by 20cm when printed onto the clothing.

At this stage the design is to be printed on walking trousers, front bottom right or front bottom left . It is not expected to represent anything but should brighten them up.

Hi. Do you need a t-shirt front print, or do you need an all-over design repeat pattern? What is the purpose of this design - what do you want to use it for, and what do you want it to represent?

Sorry - first time I have submitted. As I said the image will be printed onto clothing - I will therefore require a bitmap or vector file. Does this answer your question?
