Contest Brief

VERY IMPORTANT NOTEs- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR DESING:

1- We are working with a client who wants a web site for their DrySense technology. DrySense is a device that is embedded in the wheelchair seats of patients with incontinence, and will alert caregivers when a “void event” (i.e. urination) has occurred. The caregiver will then be able to change the patient in a timely manner to avoid urinary tract infections or skin rashes and wounds that can result from changing the patient’s diaper or briefs too late.

2- The website will have a number of static HTML pages, as well as an e-commerce section, where clients can purchase DrySense.

3- We have decided to do this in 2 phases:
a. Phase 1: design and create static web pages. PHASE 1 IS THE SUBJECT OF THIS CONTEST. The deliverable is the design, and once the winner is selected, HTML pages need to be delivered according to the attached file.
b. Phase 2: finalizing the pages, integrating with e-commerce platform (such as Shopify), and developing an API to send purchase information to the backend database. Phase 2 is NOT the subject of this contest.

4- We will post a “Project” for Phase 2 in exactly 1 week from the start date of this contest. We STRONGLY encourage you to also bid on that project once it is posted, as it may be easier for us to work with one person for both phases. This, however, is NOT a requirement. We welcome everyone’s design ideas.

5- We are providing a document (attached) which describes the website structure. Please make sure you review it. This document contains what we have envisioned about the website. While we do not want to deviate from this too much, we welcome creative ideas that may be a little different than our imagination.

6- We are also providing a number of images that you can (but do not have to) use. The Getty images are not licensed; so please feel free to use them as placeholders, or find other images as needed. We will change these images to licensed content before launching the website.

7- We should re-emphasize that as mentioned above, the deliverables for this contest include the design AND the static HTML pages. Once the winner is selected, the winner MUST submit all HTML and multimedia content.

* Please take your time! We will select the winner AT THE END of the contest. You do not have to rush your design in!!!

* Please do not plagiarize designs from other websites!
