Contest Brief

Hello, I'm looking for someone to design a logo for my private music studio. The name of the studio is "Pearlhouse Recordings".

I'm still unsure of which direction I want to go exactly with the logo, so I'm open to many ideas. Some of the general directions I have been leaning towards include:Old rock and roll flyer for a show like for The Doors or Led Zeppelin (1970s), something similar to the logos for Fender or Marshall amplifiers, or something that would look good alongside those logos such as on a sticker on an amplifier (perhaps cursive), or perhaps just something just sleek and modern, or even something completely out there if it really struck the eye.

The logo needs to be original and not have any issues with copyright. It will also be going on business cards in the future.
