Contest Brief

We&#039;re developing a game (game brief attached) and we&#039;re looking for a character designer.
If you’re someone who is passionate about gaming and have designed characters in the past, this contest is for you.

We&#039;ve attached some references to guide your art direction. But feel free to express yourself.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. One human character (pick either Matek and Miksha) -- read the game brief for period and game tone.
2. Identifiable element to the character. (e.g. scarf, hairstyle, body shape, clothing, etc.)
3. Character animations (animated in Unity with animation controllers and states) - stand, run, and jump cycle

Here’s what you’ll deliver:
One Unity project with a controllable character.

Winning entry gets a much bigger project on Freelancer!

(We're open to you sending sketches before completing the project).

Hi! i understand what you need. Unfortunately i cant use unity, however i can make the animation sprites on Adobe Animate, can i participate? if the answer is yes, can you please extend the deadline one day or two? Thanks!

Is it 100% necessary to know about Unity? Im not sure, but i think you will have more luck finding artists/designers on this site, than people who can do both the design and the unity integration.

Hi Developers!
It wasn't clear in the description ; Do you want a controllable character in Unity
or do you want an animated Object that you can connect with your character controller in Unity? It's a big difference.
