I need some Graphic Design for Landing Page Images

Contest Brief

We need two images for a two-step landing page. The landing page will be used for B2B lead generation by an online marketing company offering prizes to leads in exchange for referrals. Here are the two pages as they were used by a shaving company so you can see the layout of the pages.

For the first page we need an image that conveys failing or struggling with online marketing. For the second page we need an image that shows adapting to overcome that struggle.

We'd like the theme of the images to be prehistoric T-Rex themed.

So the image for the first page would be T-Rex failing because of his short arms, as in these examples:

The images do need to relate to online marketing and convey our message on the first page of struggling and overcoming on the second page. We do not know if we want a realistic looking T-Rex, or a stylized T-Rex, a sketched T-Rex, or a cartoon T-Rex, etc. That's what the contest is for.

We would love to see tagline options for the images.

If you'd like to do T-Rex's for the first page and have them interacting with speech bubbles (similar to the "I love you this much", "That's not very much" example) - we are open to that as well.

We want a cheeky, light-hearted, humorous feel to the images. We do not want it to feel serious.

This project will lead to more design work for the landing page.

Also, please note that as we indicated in our brief this does not have to be a cartoon or caricature of a T-Rex. We are open to seeing realistic, sketched, or other styles of T-Rex's.

We have modified the contest. We've sealed the entries, extended the date, and increased the prize amount.

Of all the entries we've gotten so far, only one was of good quality in a style we liked. Most ignored the detailed instructions in our brief, and many had images that were pirated right off the internet and were not original designs.

We chose to run a contest so that we would have multiple quality entries to choose from, so we've made modifications to our contest that will hopefully encourage more quality entries.

BUT... we are looking to hire ASAP and hopefully we will soon have an entry that conveys the message we want it to convey and won't have to run the contest until the end.

We look forward to seeing more quality entries that follow our instructions in the brief!

would be more effective using photography of toy t-rex. Your brand's art direction is photography unless you're shooting the drawings (which is probably applicable to colour pencils company?) 2 cents opinion, wont bid for it since I don have equipment to shoot my concept. Your brand has great hero images on the current web so great to keep it consistent :) Cheers!

Please note that entries #2 #3 #4 and #5 have been rejected. They had absolutely nothing to do with the instructions in our brief and looked far too much like they had been stolen off of the internet.

  Hi Claudiu, we don't have the text yet for the landing page. We're still working on that. I think you should be able to do the T-Rex images without all the other text, because we see those images as being independent of the text (or having our text based on the images). Does that make sense?
