Contest Brief

I want a logo design for a software company named MRT Net Solutions. A logo has already been designed for the parent company MRT Group (attached).
I want the logo to incorporate elements of the parent company like the colours and the MRT text (if possible) and I want it to show what we do, which is software. Feel free to be creative but I want a clear connection with the parent logo to be obvious.

Please understand that we do not need a complete rebranding of the entire group of companies. MRT GROUP has a logo (the one provided) that we are happy with. We need a logo for the software company MRT NET SOLUTIONS which is a subsidiary of MRT GROUP. Because the MRT name is carried over, we want a logo that shows it is a software company under the MRT brand.

I need something more original. The parent logo signifies the subsidiaries as blocks that come together as one building, rising to the top. An idea could be to take one of the blocks as the Software company and make a logo that can be re-attached to the parent logo. JUST AN IDEA!!! Not an instruction.
