Law firm primarily resolves any issue that can come up in the workplace. Law firm mostly represents and gives advice to company (employer) but occasionally accepts a case from an employee and sues the employer but the dispute is still something that arose in the workplace such as not paid properly (wage hour violation) discrimination against employee, required leave was not provided, compliance issue with workplace safety laws (OSHA), pension fund not handled properly or employee became a whistleblower reporting to a government agency some illegal or improper conduct. In all these situations, this firm will represent the company and provide advice on how to comply with these laws, settle disputes that arise under these laws and, when necessary, litigate the disputes in court. The name should not be one sided to suggest we only represent companies as we will represent employees occasionally. So, looking for a catchy clever name that captures what we do. a fairly non-creative name might be workplace legal services with a domain of workplacels.com A domain that works with the name must be available.
To add a bit more about me, I prosecuted companies handling some of the most high profile and complicated cases for the Department of Labor for 18 years. I have also worked at a large law firm representing companies against the government and private plaintiffs and assisting them in complying with these laws. I am now thinking about starting my own firm which leads me to seeking your help. Thank you for your talented submittals.
