Contest Brief

Hello creative video makers,

I am looking for a skilled video editor to create a promo video for Sleepmee's 3 Phase Baby Sleep Music either with stock footage or original footage or mix. Up to you.

Here is my suggestion for the script. But if you think you can do something better than that please feel free to do something different. The main purpose is to get people to click on the final "Listen Now" button and become fans of our baby sleep music. Feel free to use animations, special effects or whatever you think fits.

I need a 15sec and 30 sec version in square and vertical/horizontal format. But for the contest it's enough if you submit one of those versions. You can do the others if you win.

The target group is mainly new parents with babies between 0-3 years old. Ads will run on IG, Facebook, Maybe TikTok, YouTube.

My script suggestion:

Summary:
The video shows in a funny, cute way how babies (little angels) can turn into little monsters (when they cry) but Sleepmee music can turn them back into little angels who are calm and asleep.

Part 1: Starts with various videos of cute babies that captivate the viewers attention. Should be super cute or funny. A suggestion is to start with the "baby in womb" video with a text overlay: “When magic creates little angels” and then some other really cute baby videos. Up to you.

Part 2: A transition with text: ”But angels can turn into monsters real quick.” Videos of babies/toddlers who are crying and are wild and annoying with desperate parents not knowing what to do.

Part 3: Transition with text: “Our magical 3 phase baby sleep music can turn monsters back into little angels”. Videos of sleeping cute babies. Ideally with a phone or speaker next to them showing how Sleepmee's music calmed them down.
Finally another text overlay with: "Get it now. For Free, on Spotify, Apple Music and more. Animation with the spotify and apple music logos.

I have a folder with stock videos and images you can use. BUT it's totally up to you to use your own footage if you have something great.

I also include the baby sleep music in the folder as an mp3. However this makes only sense in part 3. Part 1 should have more uplifting music. Part 2 maybe just some crying and or sound effects and part 3 our relaxing Sleepmee music. Maybe even a voice over but up to you.

  - I like cute text overlays in the right size. Some feel too small.
  - I like the phone animation with the hand holding a phone and a finger clicking (see entry #143 for example). It should be big and upfront and stay till the end.
  - I like some of the layered animations such as little flashes over a mother's head indicating headaches or a sleepy Zzzz emoji or moon etc.
  - Often I found that too many videos were used, making it to hectic. Focus on good ones.
  - The last part should be the longest. Include information as shown on my website such as the 3 phases, 5 stars Amazon rating, recommended by doctors, 20 mil streams etc. Convince people to chose our music.
  - If you can get the message across in the shortest amount of time (12sec) the better.
  - So far almost all participants followed my suggestion. But it was just a suggestion. Would be nice to also see different approaches. Be creative. Make it a viral video :)
