Contest Brief

We are looking to get a Natural Glacial Spring Water bottle designed along with the logo. We need a product that will look fantastic on the counter of a fine dining restaurant, while competitive to manufacture.

Winner must submit: Product Logo, Packaging Design and Bottle Shape. READ ATTACHED DESIGN DOC.

It needs to be chic, contemporary/vintage.

Must be a similar shape to San Pellegrino/Acqua Panna/any wine bottle. We have limitations of traditional bottle manufacturing (traditional neck and bottle shapes, nothing with too many straight lines or too cylindrical).

The product is as follows:

a) Glass Bottled Premium Drinking Water
b) Available in 2 sizes - 355ml & 750ml
c) To be packaged in Cartons, divided internally by crossed carton sheets. We can consider Telescopic cartons.
d) 12 pieces/carton for Large (800ml), 24 pieces per carton for Small (400ml)

I have spoken to the manufacturer and due to the volume restrictions we have to keep the bottle relatively typical. That means, generic shapes are preferred. However if there is a particular shape of a bottle that is atypical, we can try and convince them to accept that particular shape, but there are no guarantees.

The content on each bottle should be:

1. A large sticker on the face with:
- Brand name (Swat Valley or SWÄT).
- Mention of the type of water (Natural Glacial Spring Water)
- Volume (750ml or 355ml for the smaller version).
- Mention of the term 'Bottled at source in Swat Valley, Pakistan".

2. A sticker on the back of the bottle with:
- Mineral content (7.5 PH, Calcium 64 ppm, Magnesium 17ppm, Sodium 6 ppm, Potassium 2.2 ppm, Chloride 9 ppm, Sulfate 42 ppm. TDS 248 ppm)
- Mention of the manufacturer info: "Bottled by Swat Valley Beverages, Malam Jabba, Swat Valley, KPK, Pakistan".
- Pakistan Standards Mark Mandatory

3. An optional sticker around the neck or on the neck:
- Swat Valley OR Natural Spring Water

4. NECK
The neck is anticipated to be screw on Steel ROPP bottle cap as below and can have upto 2 color printing on the top.

For inspiration you can see Acqua Panna as the glass is similar to what we have in Pakistan and the design is suitable to our needs.

  Hi, thank you for your entry. Though this looks nice, the bottle shape is impractical for filling and distribution therefore we have given it a 3 star rating. We suggest you use more traditional shapes and the steel silver ropp cap provided in the brief. Thanks
