I am the manager of 6 commercial buildings in which I am in charge of the work authorizations and the credit purchases. So day to day, I will purchase goods, services, or even small construction projects for the buildings at the request of the building managers. The work authorizations are for events, major constructions, or upgrades. So they will give us 25k for a year for any projects on their floors/space. We charge it, but I noticed the complaints from the building managers are nobody is saving the calculations for the utilities or security. The tenant will pay for 10 hours of security but end up using 16 at the end of the year. What I would need is 2 master data sheets to input credit items and the other for work authorizations. Those sheets should have drop down bars to select different items in the row as well as link to a work authorization if it is applicable. The work authorization tab should have the same drop down tab as well as the ability to calculate amount remaining. I can send the list of names for each field I envision. . I would also need a special utilities and security tab, but after I input data in the master sheet it would transfer to other sheets in the workbook to show by building specific information. The dashboard I would like a bar graph of total credit purchases per month, chart showing work authorizations in progress, a couple of breakdown of monthly activity by building, ability to change from fiscal years, so I can use the sheet.
Some requirements are mentioned in the attached pdf document. I know I don't have the best handwriting. I just wanted to provide additional information. Please contact me with any questions.
I really want to capture both processes as far as the micro purchase and work authorizations better. I want to keep track of a mast sheet that will update the information in the other sheets to show the data for each building.
P.S. one more thing I wanted the dashboard to have picture links for buildings. I saw it in another doc where the person click the image and it took him to the information like basically creating a shortcut.
Note: I need all of it in google sheets not excel.
