Writing code to handle data has always been a source of satisfaction, something I am enthusiastic about and the results of which have always been fulfilling. This is because I firmly believe that in order to get proper insight one needs to have access to detailed information, as the complexity that surrounds us cannot otherwise be comprehended. I have worked with complex financial reports, detailed credit register as well as household survey data, international trade, production and business statistics. I have also integrated most of these datasets in order to produce detailed tables within national accounts and energy statistics. In addition, I have produced detailed analysis based the data I have worked with, worked on a diverse set of projects, written extensive reports as well as done research. While data is easier to handle than people, experience has also taught me that transparency in communication is key to establishing sustainable personal and professional relationships. Seeking to understand others, without short-sighted prejudice, is an important principle of cooperation both within and outside the workplace. As a professional, I believe it is essential to be able to critically assess the tasks at hand in order to anticipate what needs to be done and propose solutions, all of which additionally motivates me to achieve set work goals. less
