I am a native Spanish speaker with extensive knowledge of the English language, which I have acquired through years of formal study and practice (5 years in New York). Working with translations, I deliver high-quality tasks, taking into account the region where it is to be produced by adjusting the context and keywords to the dialect used in that region, so that the results in Spanish or English are clean and accurate. For example, the Spanish language has many regions, each with its own dialect, so sometimes it is not possible to use a neutral Spanish. The same is true for English, but to a lesser extent. In the video and audio editing field, I have over ten years of experience with a solid background in linguistic accuracy and dedication to accessibility. In the subtitle/Closed Captions item, I start from scratch or correct pre-existing ones, working on their grammar, grouping, synchronization and fluency, as well as their fonts, size, color and placement, it´s happend when the client needs subtitles added to the video (hard captions). The results are optimal and the delivery is always on time. When difficult proposals arrive, I can make general adjustments to ensure readability when the material presents poor quality. So I make corrections to improve visibility, consistent with the visual content. Time-stamped transcriptions in English or Spanish are also deliver, the approach is to streive for perfection, I have excellent listening comprehension which greatly facilitates this task. Software used: Transcription: Express Scribe and InqScibe, Video Edition: Adobe Premiere Pro. Adobe After Effects. Kapwing, Aegisub. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. MS Word, Google Workspace, Foxit Pdf Editor. Audio Transcription: Verbatim and non-verbatim transcriptions, Conferences, voice mails, meetings, interviews, podcasts, and audiobooks. Translation: General, Technical, and Legal.
