Hi Guys,
We are looking to develop a hotel intranet which will be used by hotels.
The problem with hotels is communication with department and different shifts.
I want an intranet but more like Facebook, where employees can create an account and post different things like guest complaints and handover.
If someone post something tagging a department, that department can view the post and comment on that post.
Employees can chat with each other.
View their time-sheet, look at their roster, request for day off/leave etc.
HR department can send notices & pay slip or any other information to anyone one the network.
The intranet should also be able to create roster and email everyone their copy/roster for coming week(roster management)
We are looking to develop something like Yammer or Jostle.
Should be able to integrate with trip adviser(can see live feed from Tripadvisor) and share the content on intranet.
Should also have ability to manage Facebook and Twitter content straight from intranet.
