This ad is directed at the people in Charlestown NH so we need an image they recognize. The building is their townhall. You can gray it or make it a faint image and the ad needs to look a bit eerie also. This is a book about a killing so we want the ad to reflect that and be a bit dramatic.
The "web" the book's title is talking about is like a spider web - a web of intrigue - so even a faint web can be in the background. but if you do make it look interesting not stupid.
