C++ Application Integration

This should be a VERY simple job for someone who knows what they are doing.
I have two applications. One is a Media player and one is a Media converter.
On the converter the end user clicks a Browse button and selects a file that needs to be converted.
On the player, I have a button that will launch the converter. What I'd like to do is make the button on the launch the converter and fill in the name of the file. What I mean is rather than the end user having to select the file just send the info over from the player to save the end user a step. The player app already has the file open so it should be able to send the file name and path over to the converter.
I need this done quickly. I'm really looking for someone that is very good with C++ that I can count on to perform projects quickly. I have a lot of work in the future. I really need someone that I can count on to finish stuff on time and that has good communication skills.
Please let me know if you've done any work with multimedia in the past.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
