Buddypress Avatar not cropping in second language with WPML

I need a buddypress expert to help fix a small problem with Wordpress Multi lingual. Currently when someone uploads an avatar in buddypress, the crop function doesn't appear when the user is in a second langauge using wordpress multilingual. This is a small general bug in WP Mulitlingual plugin. They are aware of the problem but have not fixed it yet.
