I have a calendar date selection tool installed on my site at:

<[url removed, login to view]>

However, it doesn't suit my requirements. When the button to the right of the 'date' textbox is clicked, the calendar is displayed on the form, and resizes the table when clicked.

I want the calendar to open in a new window, positioned just to the right of the 'date' textbox. This window should open when either the 'date' textbox or the graphic beside it is clicked on. The user should not be able to type the date in the textbox, they must use the date selector. I don't want it done as a standard popup, as most people nowdays have popup blockers installed.

Also, the current calendar only grays out dates prior to today.

I want it to dissallow the user to select any date prior to 4 days ahead of today.

At the bottom of the current calendar, there are buttons for closing and using todays date. The user musn't be able to select todays date, so I want this button removed, and just display the button for closing the calendar.

Also, the date that is placed into the 'date' textbox is in the format: YYYY-MM-DD.

I need it to use the DD-MM-YYYY format instead.

I require the code to be well commented, so I can get an understanding of how it works.
