I currently have 3 Joomla/Virtuemart shops.

Currently they are all totally separate installations.

The problem with this is that when a user registers in shop A he is not automatically registered in shop B or C.

JMS2WIN allows you to have 1 Joomla Core installation (Master) with multiple other Joomla sites using the Master site's Joomla config.

I am looking for a developer that has JMS2WIN experience (must show example sites / references) to advise on best options and then to implement.
