I would like to learn Visual Studio 2013. The learning process would involve software development of a real requirement: an application to manage a Second-Hand shop.
The Shop currently uses an application developed using FoxPro, and this fully meets the requirements. I had developed this 20 years back. Now I would like to write this application on the latest development platform. I have not been developing software for over 10 years, so I would like to take this opportunity to learn the new tools (I am an experienced software developer but do not have Windows/Web development experience). The application will use SQL Server Express as datastore.
I expect the application to be developed in a month (or longer if we do not work full time on it). I will provide detailed specifications, database design, and all testing...
