I'd like to build a website booking system for freelancers that I work with in the film and TV industry. Ideally it would allow members (crew) to keep their calendars online and myself as a producer would be able to select a bunch of crew and check their availabilities for that day/s I need and put through booking requests - ranging from initial request through to confirmed booking.
From here I'd also like to be able to use the data of the booking to create project schedules, email out run sheets etc, so it needs to be flexible to be added to.
It should be a website application for details bookings etc., and a simple app for crew to use that quickly lets them accept or reject a job and updates their calendar within the app.
There is a bit more too it terms of future functionality but I'd like to start with the booking element and grow it from there.
