We just finished up a music video for a rapper from China that features an English rapper as well.
Instead of adding "boring" subtitles at the bottom, we're looking to spice it up with some typography.
The song has two rappers: one that raps in Chinese, and one English.
For Chinese rapper:
We will give English translations and the time stamps of each sentence. The word translations won't need to match but the words should go with the flow of the song.
For English rapper:
It won't be necessary to do all the words, but maybe some emphasis on certain words.
