I am seeking a Researcher/Business Analyst (and possibly more than one) to undertake business evaluation of the market for Rolling Stock composed of Passenger Cars and Freight Wagons including Locomotives in a West African country. The work done will serve as input into a Business Plan being prepared for Partnership with a Foreign Technical/Financial Partner who will provide some funding and technical capacity for the project.
Some of the key data required include Data and Intel on the Feasibility of Rolling Stock along Public Standard Gauge Rail Lines, Current Pricing for Tickets and Cargo freight, and Financial Analysis and Modelling for such a project, Risk Factors for such Partnership. etc.
Interested bidders will be preferred if they have similar or relevant analytical, planning or project management background in the Rail Transport Industrty in both European and African territories.
Some strategy building will be involved in ingesting the Data and Intel while analyzing other successful and non-successful case studies.
Finally, some objective recommendations wil be required in formulating a plan of action regarding how best to launch and grow the business in the West African country by way of modified delivery of recommended, suggested, anticipated and/or futuristic services, price adjustment, or other means.
