Tidy up the site

I am trying to tidy up a site page for mobile. It has a slider (bxslider) on it that is showing the 3 images stacked on each other for 2 seconds before looking normal. I see some fixes for it but am running out of time to keep trying. I'm not too familiar with JS so it is probably a 5 minute fix. I'd also like to know how to reduce the space between the slider and content on the page.
