Digital Artist/Graphics Designer for Book Covers

Needs to hire 3 Freelancers

I have several different books that I need covers for. They're different genres and have different style needs. I'd like to find an artist(s) who could do 1-2 covers a month for me on a regular basis as I publish a lot of books.

Current covers needed:

1. Steampunk space and time travel (series, ongoing work)

2. Vampire (series, ongoing work)

3. Neverland/Peter Pan

4. Dark fairy tale

5. Magical world fantasy adventure with dragons (series, ongoing work)

I'll need many more following these. I'd like to develop a continuing working relationship with artists - especially with the series work, so that the covers are consistent in style and design. Sometimes the cover concepts I have are little more than pencil sketches you can see for a visual aid to help you create something much better. Sometimes there are photographs that I want to use as a base to create something similar to the photo but unique (not the actual photo).

Digital graphics software proficiency is important.

There needs to be good communication between myself and the artist, so that we can collaborate well together on each project; both of us getting what we need out of it. It has been my experience that cover design should go in stages; the artist sends in gradual developments on the image as they're working on it so that if changes need to be made, they can be made early on.

I'm looking for artists who can communicate well, are talented, have creative vision, can work in a reasonable amount of time, and are affordable; especially since this will be ongoing work.
