I am looking for a skilled developer to help me with the development and customization of a large university Moodle 4.2 site/system. The project requires the following features:
Scope of Work:
The project entails comprehensive planning, installation, customization, integration, optimization, and configuration of our University's large-scale Moodle site and system. The execution of the project will incorporate elements of; needs assessment, system installation, theme customization, custom plugins (administration, communication, collaboration, content, assessment, interface plugins) and integration; integration with external 3rd party systems; custom course configuration, upload and interface design; custom reporting interface design and reports; custom workflows; custom assessments; custom dashboards; system demonstration & testing; and user & system manual development & training.
Outcome of Work:
The desired outcome of the project is a seamless and efficient customized University Moodle System (UMS) that incorporates the following functionalities and features:
• Moodle Website Setup: Install and set up the Moodle website for our University.
• Server Configuration: Configure the server environment to ensure optimal performance and stability for Moodle.
• Administration and Troubleshooting: Provide robust administrative capabilities and troubleshooting support.
• Big Blue Button Integration: Integrate the Big Blue Button web conferencing tool.
• Category, Course, Activity Configuration & Setup: Set up categories and courses, including lessons, quizzes, and other required activities (a categories/courses/activities set-up design and layout specification will be provided)
• Application Customization: Customize the Moodle application to align with our University's branding and requirements.
• CSV Upload Templates: Develop and customize CSV upload templates for batch uploading of categories, courses, course modules, and activities.
• Robust CSV File Uploading Interface: Create a user-friendly interface for batch processing CSV file uploads for categories, courses, course modules, and activities.
• Customized Reports: Develop customized reporting functionalities within Moodle.
• Branded Login Screen: Customize the login screen with our University's branding.
• Customized Splash Screen: Implement a customized splash screen that reflects our University's identity.
• Design and Layout Customization: Customize the design and layout of the Moodle system to align with our University's visual identity.
• Feature and Functionality Development: Develop and integrate new features and functionalities tailored to our University's needs.
• Repository Integration: Integrate Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive repositories into Moodle.
• Admission Application System Integration to process students' admissions and enrolments that feeds into the Moodle system for course allocations
• E-commerce Integration: Integrate a payment gateway, such as PayPal (and other relevant e-commerce plugins), for seamless e-commerce transactions.
• Edwiser Bridge Configuration: Configure and optimize the Edwiser Bridge plugin for enhanced Moodle integration.
• In-app Zoom Meeting Connectivity: Enable seamless connectivity to Zoom meetings within the Moodle platform.
• Plugins and Theme Management: Install and customize various Moodle plugins and themes
• Integrate and optimize various Moodle plugins seamlessly into the system (Including but not limited to: Mass Actions blocks; CSV Enrolls & Groups plugins; Analytics for Moodle with IntelliBoard plugins; Custom certificate plugin; Microsoft Blocks; Grade distribution plugin; Course Module navigation plugin, Quickmail; Progress Bar; Pcast; Moodle Welcome; Grade Me; Google Apps for Moodle; Dialogue; Adobe Connect; Accessibility; Application Form; [login to view URL]; Attendance plugin, AutoEnrol plugin; PoodLL Plugin; Restriction by course completion plugin; Course Merge Helper; Organizer block; Mass Actions block; Max Views block; Filtered course list block; CSV Enrolls & Groups plugin; Completion Progress block; Max Views block; Microsoft Block; Use Stats plugin; User Suspension plugin; Invitation plugin; Cohort role synchronization plugin; Checklist plugin; LDAP syncing scripts plugin, Checkmark Report plugin; Re-sort Courses plugin; Unique Login plugin; Journal plugin; Questionnaire plugin; Checkmark Report plugin; My Feedback plugin; Course Archiver plugin. • Mahara Integration: Integrate Mahara e-portfolio system with Moodle.
• H5P integration: Integrate HSP functionality, systems, and interface
• Course Content Management: Manage course content, including quizzes, H5P interactive content, SCORM packages, and lessons.
• Cron and Mail Management: Manage Moodle cron jobs and email functionality.
• User Account Management: Create, manage, and assign roles and permissions for Moodle user accounts.
• Web Conferencing Integration: Integrate and customize web conferencing tools within Moodle.
• Workflow Automation: Automate Moodle workflows using tools like Zapier, Cron Jobs, and bash scripting.
• SCORM Course Integration: Integrate SCORM courses seamlessly into Moodle.
• Server Configuration and Migration: Configure servers, handle SSL certificate and database migrations.
• SSL Certificate Installation: Install SSL certificates for secure data transmission.
• Third-Party Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services, such as WordPress, Zoho CRM, etc., into Moodle.
• User Creation and Enrollment: To manage Moodle's user creation and enrollment processes.
• Virtual Classroom Integration: Integrate virtual classroom solutions into Moodle for seamless remote teaching and learning.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize Moodle instances for improved performance.
• Payment Gateway Integration: Integrate payment gateways for seamless payment processing.
• Performance Monitoring Dashboards: Implement dashboards for performance monitoring.
We request interested bidders to submit their detailed proposals addressing the above requirements, including timelines, pricing, and relevant experience. Please note that this document should comprehensively list desired functionalities and features. Vendors are encouraged to propose additional enhancements and optimizations based on their expertise and experience.
