Re-writer for a 7-8 Creative Book Series!!!

Duration: As long as it takes. Could be a year.

In 2010, I’ve came up with an idea that later ended up to be a universe of imagination. There is nothing of its kind out there, and beta-readers agree it’s a category of its own. I wrote the first two books with the third book in rough draft and book four and five waiting for my time to be written. My goal is to be 100% original without using pre-existing mythical creatures or categories like magic.

Genre: YA coming-of-age fiction

Books: Series of 7-8

Offer: (Will be placed on a contract drafted by a contract lawyer)

- Bonus of lifetime maximum $1,000,000 paid at 10% of author’s earnings from book 1

o May include merchandise and movie

- Name placed in the book 1 as “Rewriter”

- Acknowledgement that you were a rewriter to the public and you get credit for rewriting (I will never take full credit)

- One time fixed pay of $20 (proves a paid job)

Why do I seek a rewriter?

I am a creator. I create the world of my imagination and simply drop people in them to see how they react to the world. I never wanted to be a writer and don’t like reading. I am an engineer. My imagination is what makes the story intriguing. With the help of movies and reading how to write, I was able to achieve a story. I plan far out. I write in a condense manner, like a dried raisin. I need a rewriter to plumb the writing to make it into a juicy fruit by adding rich vocabulary words, interpersonal emotions, dialogue structure, and etc.

Why 5 rewriters?

I want this series to start great. The more heads to bounce ideas from, the richer the story can be. I make the ultimate decision on what ideas stay. The way this will work is that all rewriters will read the book. They will critique it. Then will learn what was intended to be told from me. Then they will rewrite it. After the rewrite, all rewriters will read each other rewrite version of the book. Then as a team, all will collect the best ideas and make one final rewrite as a team to be the final story.

Requirements

- Must be a USA citizen

- Willing to submit a sample rewrite of 1 paragraph

- Very creative with a great imagination

- Read plenty of YA books

- Knows how to self-edit and self-proofread

- Is considered a professional YA writer

- Work as a group and share ideas

- Willing to understand the whole series to its core by reading a lot of material provided by the author

- Skype call

Prior beta-readers rate this book as a fun read, creative, imaginative, and worth having. I have one very large flaw with the story that could easily be fixed, it has similarities with Harry Potter.
