This logo is for a Run / Walk event that is going to take place at a shopping mall. It’s an odd place to have an event, but we want to play off the “oddness” of it. We’re going to offer people the opportunity to walk inside or run outside, or both. Thus, the name of the event is “The Great Inside / Out Race at the Great Mall.”
I’ve attached the logo concept I sketched out. The shape is meant to look very close to the actual signage for the mall (see attached photo). I’ve also attached an example of a logo from another race that I thought was fantastic - Running with the Cows. I want our logo to be similar in that it is fun and somewhat cartoonish. But, in our case, it needs to closely resemble the mall’s signage so that people draw the connection.
Once the logo is done, we'll need it in a few different sizes and resolutions.
