The project is about building a business directory website like Yelp and Foursquare.
The base technology of the website should be in Wordpress. Third party wordpress plugin can be purchased if needed. GeoDirectory plugin have been purchased and it can be used as the base design.
The main functionality of the website in this project should be and not limited to:
- Login and signup must be encrypted and secured
- Search and filter of local businesses.
- Displaying the search result
- Business detail page
- Check in, likes / favourites
- Friends and followers (like social media)
- News feeds and updates from user's friends / followers
- Web design
- Geo-location base search
Project specification document will be handed upon appointing the freelancer.
The project will have a second phase in the future too. So the design solution must be extendable for future development.
