We have a theme that we like and want to continue to use it. That said, we need to implement a subscription service for $5 per month that gives those users priority when asking a question on our site. We have no paying members at the moment. In addition to this, whatever plugin we use needs to support a balance for the end-user whereby the customer can carry a balance on their account so that they do not have to pay each time.
