Groom is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Social Media Assistant and Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving user growth, engagement, and SEO success. You will be responsible for crafting captivating social media content, analyzing performance metrics, implementing SEO strategies, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Social Media:
Create and manage engaging social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
Develop and execute social media strategies to grow our audience and increase engagement.
Analyze social media performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute social media campaigns.
Digital Marketing:
Utilize free or low-cost methods to conduct keyword research and analysis.
Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and on-page elements, for improved search visibility.
Perform regular website audits using cost-effective SEO tools.
Monitor and report on website performance metrics using accessible analytics platforms.
Assist in the creation and implementation of SEO strategies and initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, scheduling, and email management.
Assist with content creation and editing, ensuring it is optimized for social media and SEO.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
Assist in managing social media accounts and engaging with our online community.
Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve our digital marketing efforts and overall business operations.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with free or low-cost SEO tools and analytics platforms.
In-depth knowledge of budget-friendly SEO strategies and techniques.
Bonus Points:
Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
Experience with video editing and animation.
Experience with social media advertising.
Knowledge of Zapier or similar automation tools.
Experience with open AI tools.
