This a startup project with a limited budget.

It is to complete a proof of concept for IoT security.

The project is nearly done but exceeds the skill set of the current developers to complete.

The project eliminates all credentials on IoT devices with a simple API and a series of micro databases on a server. Those DB are only active when the device is active.

The system is patented and rather complex but it represents a different paradigm in IoT security, that being – we don’t match credentials (passwords, biometrics, dongles,etc. Etc.). NDA later in the selection process.

My current teams have the API and server side done but are not able to handle the connecting device HTML UI to the server within the specs of the system design. This is not a trivial issue. It needs someone very skilled in creative thinking.

As a startup, with an entirely new way to protect devices from MITM, DDOS and hackers – because there are no UN/PW – we believe the opportunities are limitless.

The challenge can be defined loosely as putting a shell website (IoT device UI) inside my server application and capturing ALL traffic to/from the IoT device.

The problem is this we want to add a device into a website portal.

1. User connects to the portal.

2. Server authenticates the user.

3. The device UI is presented through the portal

4. User controls the device through the portal UI (shell)

5. The server monitors all traffic to/from the device.

We may need to update the API to automate the connection process, but we don't want to rewrite the device code and controls on the server.
