Development Task: WhatsApp AI Chatbot for Food Delivery
Objective: Develop an AI chatbot for WhatsApp that facilitates food orders for our existing iOS and Android food delivery application.
Workflow:
* Initiation
* Chatbot: "What food are you craving?"
* Restaurant Selection
* Chatbot: "Here are a list of available restaurants:
* Restaurant A
* Restaurant B
* Restaurant C Please respond with the number or name of the restaurant you wish to order from."
* Menu Display & Selection
* Chatbot (after restaurant choice): "Here's what's on the menu today at [chosen restaurant]:
* Item 1
* Item 2
* Item 3 Please respond with the number or name of the item you'd like to order."
* Quantity Selection
* Chatbot: "How many of [chosen item] do you wish to order? Please enter the quantity."
* Special Request
* Chatbot: "Do you wish to add any special requests to your order?"
* Additional Orders
* Chatbot: "Do you need anything else from the menu?"
* If yes: Revert back to step 3 (Menu Display & Selection).
* If no: Proceed to next step.
* Delivery Address
* Chatbot: "Where would you like your order to be delivered?"
* Payment Method
* Chatbot: "How would you like to pay?
* Credit/Debit Card
* Cash On Delivery Please respond with the number corresponding to your preferred payment method."
Integration with Firebase:
* Retrieve restaurant and menu data from Firebase.
* Once the user completes the order, send and store order details within the existing Firebase ecosystem.
Notes: Ensure smooth transition between steps, proper error handling for misinputs, compatibility with our current systems, and secure interactions with Firebase.
