Function to launch a document from within a QT program written in Javascript

I am using an open source QT based program that uses Javascript functions to add right click mouse menu functionality. I would like you to write a Javascript function that will launch a PDF file using the default PDF viewer of the user's operating system. I will be pulling the file from a Postgres DB, but for this project you can define a local PDF file to launch.
