C-based Linux File System Development

I need a simple file system developed in C language that runs on a Linux platform. The primary purpose of this file system is to store and retrieve text-based documents. Its functionalities should support the basic operations like reading, writing on a file and should be able to emulate Linux terminal commands.

Ideal skills for this project include:

- Proficiency in C language.

- Familiarity with Linux system.

- Comprehensive understanding of file systems and their operations.

- Experience in working with text document file systems would be an added benefit.

It doesn't need to manage file permissions or deal with multimedia or system application files. The provision of detailed file information, file compression, or recovery options are good-to-have, but not mandatory. At this point, simplicity in structure and operations is the primary focus. However, it needs to reliably store data and fetch them when required, with an efficient I/O operation.

So, after emulating the disk and the file system, you have to create something like a Linux terminal. You have to implement the base functions like write and read on a file, then when you run the program, you are going to format, mount, create inodes, write text(only text nothing else, only text files) and create Linux terminal commands: cat, echo etc. not so many only a few, the easiest you find, at least 4. The debug, stat format, mount, create, remove are already created.
