We are seeking written documentation and troubleshooting for the installation of the following host/service checks using a blank default installation of Nagios core platform with plugins.

Web site HTTP checked ever hour

Web site HTTPS on a custom port checked ever 12 hours

OPENVPN server

L2TP server

Email server

Active Directory domain controller

Windows workstation

URL associated with a certain IP address

Failed checks should (1) send notice by email or (2) POST content to a web site. Different checks will be associated with different contacts.

Proposals that do not respond to these questions will not be considered:

1. Describe your experience with Nagios.

2. What questions would you ask about the third host check in the list above?
