Grab PDF cover from PDF or main image and h1/h2 text from web URL

The objective is to create a module that will create a thumbnail / preview image of:
1) a PDF
2) a web URL
You will deliver an Xcode project that will run in 8.2.1 which preferably is done in Swift (3).
When running the project it should just show a textbox. Just a textbox!
1) Pasting a URL that is a link to a PDF it should grab the cover ( = the first page) of that PDF, extract it as PNG and display it.
2) Pasting a URL of any webpage should grab and display the first main image of that URL together with the h1 or h2 title text.
The desired behaviour is similar to how Facebook would preview a website URL that you paste into a new post.
Feel free to use existing open source PDF frameworks for extracting the first page.
Solutions that will NOT use a framework will be preferred though.
