Kashin is a payment app on iOS. The app is for remittance and payments with escrow management for sender/receiver to accept and release funds. The transaction activity has private messaging interaction specifically for the transactions.
Escrow - payments functionalities where the sender/receiver manage funds. For example, the sender makes a payment. The receiver acknowledge by click on the Accept button for the transaction. This causes the funds to move from the sender account to escrow which is held until the product or service has been delivered. The sender then click on the Release button to release the funds to the receiver.
Chat - the app has chat (private messaging) and group chats.
Gift envelope - allows users to send and set a specific date for release or open. for example, collecting payments via gift envelopes for new year or birthday. The envelopes would not be opened until that date.
Socket - all communication is performed via secure socket using TLS protocol. No http/https calls.
Server API - the general client/server communication is via TLS secure socket with data compression (zipping).
The app is lite, presenting data from the server. All calculations are performed on the server.
Note - we have an existing mvp android version with TLS socket communication for reviewing the app and socket implementation.
The development will follow our project milestones and deliverables. We have an existing data model but are open to more effective data model or solutions.
