Write an AppleScript program to change date format for photos in Mac "Aperture"

I have about 30,000 photographs captioned and titled with keywords in Mac "Aperture" (Photo management App). It is running on my iMac. They currently have the dates in a format like this: Y2017, Feb, (I don't have an actual day included so it's only the year and the month). Clearly this is no good for sorting and i wish to change this date description to something like 2017-02, so that I can sort in a meaningful way on the year and month. (Some dates go back to 1800's). I need somebody to write me an AppleScript that I can apply to the photos that will make this change. I need it for both the "project" description and the metadata for the individual photos. I have attached some screenshots that shows the current situation. Note that keywords splits the entries into alphabetical order so Y2107 and Feb do not come together.
