We want to create an uploader that will be able to check graphic files and pass files to e-commerce.
We have e-commerce based on Symfony 2 (sylius). It's deeply customized for our needs.
PDF, pdf:
- check pdf size (get size in mm from ecommerce) and add bleeds size (bleeds to be set in admin of application) – check if OK
- check if color-space is RGB/CMYK. CMYK is OK, if RGB or different - error – “Colors on printouts may wary”
- check if there are texts converted for curves, if not, check if fonts are embed. If not embed - error
- check page number (get page number from ecommerce)
- check image lpi – give option in admin of aplication to set minimal resolution, if image res is too low, error.
JPG, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, jpg, tiff, jpeg, png
- get size (in mm from ecommerce) and check image ratio after adding bleeds
(be careful, when image is 100 x 200 mm, ratio is different than after adding bleeds so 106 x 206 mm)
- check if color-space is RGB/CMYK. CMYK is OK, if RGB or different - error – “Colors on printouts may wary”
Other files type – comment, error
All errors have comments, all comments are editable.
There are check-points – allow admin to set action after error
Comment when error and allow to upload,
Comment when error and do not allow to upload
Make thumbnail (200px wide) and send give url to e-commerce.
