Looking for GIF/PNG functions in C

I am looking to implement three functions in C for indexed color image files in-memory unpacking and creation. The problem with standard libraries (like giflib, for example) that they work on a file handle level, while I have a file already in memory and need the implementation that would work directly in memory. It can be based on opensource libraries code, but it has to be changed to work with files stored in memory. 1. char *memGIF2RGB(char *gif_file_in_memory, int file_size, int *width, int *height) converts GIF stored in memory into 24bit bitmap in memory, returns pointer to unpacked image, width and height 2. char *memPNG2RGB(char *png_file_in_memory, int file_size, int *width, int *height)) converts PNG stored in memory into 24bit bitmap, returns pointer to unpacked image, width and height 3. int memRGB2PNG(char *gif_file_in_memory, int *width, int *height, int *file_size ) creates PNG file in memory from RGB bitmap in memory, returns created file size

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
