Hi,

We need to develop a software to recover broken ZIP archives. Software must scan given ZIP file and recreate a new fixed ZIP archive.

Fixed ZIP archive must contains all unbroken files from the source archive.

Software must scan given ZIP archive, locate file records, validate them by CRC and extract valid files into output

ZIP archive. It should work even if ZIP file is truncated and the central directory is missed.

You should implement two functions:

BOOL zipTest(LPCSTR zipName, CArray<CString,LPCSRTR>& arr, CString& errDescr);

returns TRUE is no error. arr array contains file names that could be saved.

returns FALSE in the case of error. errDescr must contain error description.

If ZIP archive is unbroken, zipTest should treat this situation is an error.

If it is impossible to recover even a single file, zipTest should return error as well.

BOOL zipRecover(LPCSTR zipName, LPCSTR outName, CString& errDescr);

This procedure should recover given zip file and construct output fixed ZIP archive under given name.

Both functions should display progress indicator (ZIP file may be very long).

You should implement these two functions (VC/MFC, code must be compatible with VC v6.0) and

simple test program.

No third party libraries/source codes are allowed (excepting for libraries or source codes which are absolutely free, ask me first to confirm).
