Looking for someone who knows? SQL? that can provide the logic needed to generate an SQL VIEW command from a complex table structure. We have an application that can generate the VIEW command based on the variable data contained in a table. A SQL VIEW is needed for Oracle 10g or higher and SQL Server 2005 or higher. Currently the SQL VIEW that is generated by the application contains too many JOIN commands structured in a way that hurts performance. The existing table structure and the desired VIEW can be provided to someone who is familiar with this.
