We're at the initial stages of planning to put together a dynamic UK windmap website using weather info available on the web and generating maps to show the current situation/forecast. Something similar to [url removed, login to view] We'd prefer the system to be developed in PHP/MySQL although we would be willing to consider your suggested alternative. I realise this is a pretty vague spec but if we get some ballpark idea of time/costs to develop a site like the one mentioned then we can agree a firm spec with interested parties. Thanks for your time. Update now that I've realised just how vague I was! Please forgive me :-) The data is available from a number of sources on the web e.g. [url removed, login to view] The info is available as METAR weather reports in a coded form [url removed, login to view] We're mainly interested in Wind Speed and Direction although other features could be of interest. We don't need any web design done, it's just really about gathering the data, translating it and generating a UK map image from it.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
