improve the website [login to view URL] performance

This would be a good project for a programmer, who knows about javascripts, Flash, XML / XHTML / DHTML

I am looking for a web designer & programmer to improve the website [url removed, login to view] performance yet keeping it visually attractive. The current website is fully implemented in FLASH. Our major issue with the Flash is that it is very slow to load. Maybe we can re-code some pages in dynamic html (combine html with FLASH in the same page so we don’t lose the ‘look’). I am open to suggestions on ways to improve the website performance. Perhaps, we can keep most pages in flash and replace only the homepage with pure html so it’s fast to load.

Other areas for Redesign are:

A) Better handling of content (text size too small, Font style needs to be crisper / clearer)B) Need more interactive and dynamic elements in the website (open to suggestions)

C) Some updates: Update "Contact Us" page

D) Some awkward webpages need redesign: example: The "entertainment" popup in the middle of the location map is very strange (Local Info ->Entertainment)

E) Need to make sure all the pages "Meetings & Events" section follows a consistent theme. Currently, they are missing images in some pages.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
